Boro Restaurant
Design Challenge: Rebrand a high-end global restaurant. Use a comprehensive brand process of research, strategy, and design development to create a new brand identity program. Design the primary identity and apply it to a variety of brand touchpoints across media.
Design Solution: Research and strategy informed the creative direction and messaging. Drawing inspiration from a traditional Japanese art style that repurposes textiles into intricate patchwork, I developed a brand identity that highlights Boro’s Japanese and Swiss cultural fusion, refined culinary approach, commitment to craftsmanship, and sustainable values. Modern patch-like shapes create the letterforms, and the Origami Swan embodies the restaurant’s Japanese roots with Geneva’s contemporary feel. Boro is now better positioned as a memorable destination for an elegant, one-of-a-kind burger experience.
