Postcards & Parcels

Design Challenge: Design a digital experience using a brand and persona that are not your own—mirroring a common real-world scenario where designers must work with predefined brand guidelines and unfamiliar audiences. The challenge was to step outside of my personal design comfort zone and craft a visually engaging and user-friendly website that communicates effectively to a target audience I didn’t personally relate to, while staying true to the tone, style, and constraints of an existing brand identity.

Design Solution: I designed Postcards & Parcels, a website that offers curated boxes filled with themed items from around the world. Using the provided brand guide and persona, I developed an interactive and cohesive web experience that allows users to browse different packages, explore their contents, and select a box based on their interests. The design emphasizes clarity, warmth, and discovery—aligning with the brand's values—while using layout, typography, and color to create visual consistency and appeal to the selected persona’s preferences.
